1. Introduction

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. In these terms and conditions, we have used "we" or "us" to refer to Learning Media Limited and "you" for the school or other organisation that is the subscriber to Journal Surf. By applying for a subscription to Journal Surf, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which are deemed to include all disclaimers and other terms and notices appearing on the specific content of Journal Surf from time to time.

2. Subscribing Online

Once you have completed the registration and/or subscription form(s) online, we will notify you through the email address you have supplied that we have received your details and are processing your application. We will notify you by email once your subscription has been activated, and you can login to Journal Surf.

3. Customer Password

You will access Journal Surf using your login name and either a user or administrator password, both of which will be provided when you subscribe. The user password may be used for internet access to Journal Surf by current staff and enrolled students of your school. The administrator password is used to maintain account information, to change passwords and to renew your Journal Surf subscription and should only be known to the person or persons responsible for those tasks.

4. Payment of Subscription

Once your subscription has been processed and activated, we will send an invoice to the postal address you have provided. You are responsible for ensuring that the invoice is received and paid promptly. If we have not received payment from you within one month of activating your subscription, we may choose to deactivate your account. If you become aware that payment has been delayed, please notify our customer services staff immediately.

5. Personal Customer Information

The information you provide to us on your subscription application and otherwise in the course of using Journal Surf will be collected and held by us in strict confidence. Once collected, we will use and store the information for the following purposes:

• The provision and daily operation of Journal Surf
• The processing or maintenance of any data, records, or payments
• To respond to requests for help from you
• Collating information for statistical purposes to improve our product and service
• For a third party or service provider to provide a certain service to you on our behalf.

6. Warranties

While we will try to ensure that Journal Surf and the content to which it provides access is free from material error, we do not warrant the accuracy, adequacy, or completeness of Journal Surf or the content, or that Journal Surf will be available at all times. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied terms, representations, warranties, and guarantees in respect of Journal Surf and the content.

7 Ownership

Journal Surf, the trade mark "Journal Surf", and the content to which Journal Surf provides access is either our intellectual property or the intellectual property of our licensors. You agree not to infringe this intellectual property, whether by copying or otherwise.

8. Other Websites

Journal Surf may provide links to external websites. We have no control over such websites, and you agree that we are not responsible for the availability of such websites, and do not endorse and are not responsible for any content available from such websites.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may change these terms and conditions. We will give all subscribers one month's notice of changes to the terms and conditions on Journal Surf. If you are unhappy with a proposed change to the terms and conditions you may cancel your subscription to Journal Surf by giving us two weeks' written notice.
